James Draven

James is a multi-award-winning travel journalist, a photographer and an author. 

Specialising in adventure, wildlife, conservation and responsible travel, his words and photographs appear in Condé Nast Traveller, National Geographic, Wanderlust, The Times, The Telegraph, The Guardian, The Independent, The i Paper, CNN, Die Zeit, JRNY and many more. He is also the editor of JRNY America magazine.

His writing has been published in several English revision textbooks – alongside works by Charles Dickens and Sir John Betjeman – and also in the anthology The Best British Travel Writing of the 21st Century.

James is also interested in music, social mobility, travel as a force for good, and animal equality.

He is currently working on his first book for Bloomsbury.
